"I tried some different things on this bear," says Peggy.  "I made a liner for the body that contains pellets.  This seems to keep them at the bottom of the bear where they belong - a problem with little bears."

Yankee is 5 inches tall.  He is made of curly matted mohair and his pads are wool felt.  Armatures in his arms allow him to hold things. His eyes are onyx beads.
